Ginny DeCuir is a technical writer that works on an independent consulting basis with McNeely, Hare & War LLP. She has over 15 years of experience as a writer for technology companies such as Intel, WebTrends, Adobe Systems, Jive Software, and Tripwire. Ms. DeCuir performs research and writing services for McNeely, Hare & War LLP in the areas of mechanical and medical devices, software, and business methods.

Ms. DeCuir’s professional background includes developing marketing and technical materials related to the Intel® Pentium® III and Pentium 4 Processors at Intel. Ms. DeCuir also helped develop technical materials and web-based content for WebTrends, a web analytics company. She then served as executive director for the National Association for Public Health Information Technology from 2003 to 2007. Upon stepping down as executive director, Ms. DeCuir launched and maintains a freelance technical writing and editing practice with a strong focus on technology clients. Her technical writing for some of the nation’s top technology companies serves to inform her of recent technology developments-knowledge she often finds useful when preparing patents. Ms. DeCuir has the ability to explain complex topics and subjects clearly in her writing, an ability that her patent clients value.

Ms. DeCuir received her undergraduate degree in Mathematics at Clemson University in 1989 and her Masters of Forest Resources from the same institution in 1994.
